Bob Reider and his son, Matthew came to discuss the property on the corner of Market Road and Wege Road, which is for sale. Matthew would like to divide the property into 3 lots (lot 1 and lot 2 would be about 5 acres) and eventually he plans to build on lot#3. There are no more driveways allowed on Market Road and so they questioned if they could put a road into the property and access all lots off the proposed road. The planning commission had no issues with the road and so they will contact county before doing the purchase.
The Jahnke’s, recently bought the house from Kettners across from the hall on State Road 76 and questioned if they could run a small business out the shed/garage next to their house. Also wanted to know if the taxes would be higher, was told to call Associated Appraisal. They should also talk to Tim Roach at the County.
There was discussion on the trail from Farmer’s Park to Stephensville.
Also plan to work on the Sanitary Ordinance at the next meeting.
Next meeting of the Planning Commission is July 25, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.
