Joe Schumacher called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Commission members present: Harold Steenbock, Bob Prunty, Paul Thome, Becky Lohrenz, Patty Ronk, and Joe Schumacher. Bonnie Fischer and Orville Nelson were absent. Others attending were Fran and Ken Van Camp and Dave Plamann.
CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES
Motion by Bob Prunty to approve the minutes as mailed to the Commission members. Second by Harold Steenbock Ayes: Joe Schumacher, Patty Ronk, Paul Thome, Becky Lohrenz, Bob Prunty, and Harold Steenbock. Motion carried.
Joe Schumacher made a motion to approve the agenda as posted. Becky Lohrenz seconded the motion. Ayes: Patty Ronk, Joe Schumacher, Paul Thome, Becky Lohrenz, Bob Prunty, and Harold Steenbock. Motion carried.
The Van Camps and Plamann came at the request of the Commission to continue the discussion on getting people from Farmer’s Park to Stephensville. Fran brought up the problem of zoning on the corner of County Road S and State Road 76. Secretary should check with county zoning on the procedure of changing the zoning.
Joe Schumacher will check with the DOT on whether the town can gain road access onto State Road 76 on the north of the church property.
Next meeting of the Planning Commission will be February 14, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. (probably only one meeting in February).
Joe Schumacher made a motion to adjourn and Bob Prunty seconded the motion. Ayes: Joe Schumacher, Patty Ronk, Paul Thome, Bob Prunty, Becky Lohrenz, and Harold Steenbock. Motion carried.
