Joe Schumacher called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Commission members present: Harold Steenbock, Bob Prunty, Paul Thome, Becky Lohrenz, Patty Ronk, Bonnie Fischer; secretary, and Joe Schumacher. Orville Nelson was absent. Others attending were Bev and Gene Utke and Amy and Joe Vermiglio.
CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES
Motion by Becky Lohrenz to approve the minutes as mailed to the Commission members. Second by Harold Steenbock. Ayes: Joe Schumacher, Paul Thome, Patty Ronk, Bob Prunty, Becky Lohrenz, and Harold Steenbock. Motion carried.
Joe Schumacher made a motion to approve the agenda as posted. Harold Steenbock seconded the motion. Ayes: Joe Schumacher, Paul Thome, Bob Prunty, Patty Ronk, Becky Lohrenz, and Harold Steenbock. Motion carried.
Amy and Joe Vermiglio came to discuss the property they inherited off of Rexford Road. They would like to take down the present house and build a new home there, but don’t have an acre lot, due to the State buying some of the property when County Road S was redone. They are asking for a variance to be able to build. Harold Steenbock made a motion to recommend the Board allow a variance for Vermiglios. Becky Lohrenz seconded the motion. Ayes: Joe Schumacher, Paul Thome, Patty Ronk, Bob Prunty, Becky Lohrenz, and Harold Steenbock. Motion carried.
Gene and Bev Utke came to talk about requirements they need to follow to build a home on their property off of County Road S. Gene talked with the County, the Stephensville Sanitary and now with the Planning Commission. The clerk received an email from Marcie Surprise stating Utkes will hook onto the sanitary system and will not need a septic system. Utke and Prunty (N 3809 State Road 76) drew up an easement contract for Utke to hook on Sanitary by Prunty. The clerk notarized the contract with the Town seal and the Planning Commission witnessed the signature.
The next meeting of the Planning Commission is scheduled for March 21, 2017 at 7:00 P.M.
Joe Schumacher made a motion to adjourn at 8:30 P.M. Patty Ronk seconded the motion.
Ayes: Joe Schumacher, Paul Thome, Bob Prunty, Becky Lohrenz, Patty Ronk, and Harold Steenbock. Motion carried.
