Board Meeting

6:30 P.M.

 

Chairman Joe Schumacher called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M.

 

Board members present: Chairman Joe Schumacher, Supervisor Allen Kaddatz, Supervisor Prunty, Treasurer Sherri Fassbender, and Clerk Bonnie Fischer.  Others that attended were Peter and Mary Miles, Officer Rolain, Mike Hagen and David Smaltz.

 

ADOPT AGENDA:

Motion made by Chairman Schumacher to follow the posted agenda.  Supervisor Prunty seconded the motion. Ayes:  Schumacher, Kaddatz, and Prunty.  Motion carried.

 

Supervisor Kaddatz made a motion to accept the minutes as mailed to the Board members, with one correction.  Supervisor Prunty seconded the motion. Ayes:  Schumacher, Kaddatz, and Prunty.  Motion carried.

 

Peter Miles came to get the large copy of the final plat of the 2ndphase of Grandview Terrace signed.

 

Officer Rolain asked if there are issues for him to look into.  Board said still a problem with truck burning out and speeding in Stepehsville.  Officer Rolain told about the guitar playing in Timber Trails, no ordinance to stop him.

 

Decided to not sell the pile of dirt behind the garage, there are some uses by the highway Dept.

 

Clerk to notify Dorn on Center Valley he has permission to install an agricultural culvert (originally signed permit for Jerry Schmidt).

 

Smear patching done and the culvert on Wege Road to be taken care of.  The Board talked about chip sealing another road.

 

Mike Hagen came with David Smaltz to explain the DNR decision on the road in Timber Trails and to request the escrow check the Town was holding.  Check was given to Mike Hagens.

 

Chairman Schumacher made a motion to approve and sign the two utility permits for We Energy (Valley View Road and Earl Lane) and one for AT&T at Manley Road.  Supervisor Prunty seconded the motion. Ayes:  Schumacher, Kaddatz, and Prunty.  Motion carried.

 

Supervisor Kaddatz made a motion to approve the bartender and alcohol licenses for St. Patrick Parish for their Round Up in August.  Chairman Schumacher seconded the motion. Ayes:  Schumacher, Kaddatz, and Prunty.  Motion carried

 

Chairman Schumacher made a motion to approve the applications for licenses for M J’s Supper Club for John and Misie Heegeman, to replace The Country Club on County Road MM.   Supervisor Kaddatz seconded the motion. Ayes:  Schumacher, Kaddatz, and Prunty.  Motion carried.

 

Supervisor Kaddatz made a motion to approve and sign the form for Veteran Perpetual assistance from the County to the Cemetery.  Supervisor Prunty seconded the motion. Ayes:  Schumacher, Kaddatz, and Prunty.  Motion carried.

 

First Responders: no report

Constable:no report

Park: no report

Planning:  Met with Bob Reider and his son, Matthew about road into property off of Market Road and Wege Road as no more driveway access permitted.

Fire Department: No report

 

The Board would like a meeting with Van Camps and Dave Plamann the last week of July.

 

REVIEW & APPROVAL OF INVOICES:

Motion by Chairman Schumacher to approve the payment of invoices.  Supervisor Prunty seconded the motion. Ayes: Schumacher, Kaddatz, and Prunty.  Motion carried.

 

Next meeting of the Board is scheduled for July 26, 2017 at 6:30 P.M.

 

Treasurer Fassbender gave the financial report.

Motion by Chairman Schumacher to adjourn at 8:45 P.M. and Supervisor Prunty seconded the motion.  Ayes:  Schumacher, Kaddatz, and Prunty.  Motion carried.
