Board Meeting

6:30 P.M.

 

Chairman Joe Schumacher called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M.

 

Board members present: Chairman Joe Schumacher, Supervisor Allen Kaddatz, Supervisor Bob Prunty, Treasurer Sherri Fassbender, and Clerk Bonnie Fischer.  Others that attended were Jim Bentle.

 

ADOPT AGENDA:

Motion made by Chairman Schumacher to follow the posted agenda.  Supervisor Kaddatz seconded the motion. Ayes:  Schumacher, Prunty and Kaddatz.  Motion carried.

 

Supervisor Kaddatz made a motion to accept the minutes as mailed to the Board members.   Supervisor Prunty seconded the motion. Ayes:  Schumacher, Prunty, and Kaddatz.  Motion carried.

 

Chairman Schumacher made a motion to approve the We Energy utility permit for Grandview Road.  Supervisor Kaddatz seconded the motion. Ayes:  Schumacher, Prunty and Kaddatz.  Motion carried.

 

Supervisor Kaddatz made a motion to approve the We Energy utility permit for Hofacker Heights.  Chairman Schumacher seconded the motion. Ayes:  Schumacher, Prunty and Kaddatz.  Motion carried.

 

Supervisor Kaddatz made a motion to approve the Budget Resolution No. 1-2017 to take funds from the Contingency Fund and increase the Building Inspection expense.   Chairman Schumacher seconded the motion. Ayes:  Schumacher, Prunty and Kaddatz.  Motion carried.

 

Joe went to see Tom McHugh on Rock Road to cut back his driveway as he went to the road edge.  The clerk will copy some of the ordinances for the Building inspector to hand out to new residents with their building permits.

 

Supervisor Kaddatz made a motion to sign the two rejection forms for the town insurance.   Supervisor Prunty seconded the motion. Ayes:  Schumacher, Prunty, and Kaddatz.  Motion carried.

 

Fire Dept.:  Jim Bentle gave the Board fire runs.  There was some discussion on the budget, emergency classes for the board, etc.  The fire department will drain the pumper in the lower shed.  Joe will put a paragraph in the newsletter concerning request for a new fire truck.

First Responders:No report

Hwy:  No Report

Park:  Discussed the picnic tables for the park, scout willing to building 6-12 tables at no cost to the town and the shop class at Hortonville school would cost the town $200.00 per table.

Planning:  worked on employee handbook and nuisance ordinance.

Constable:  no report.

 

Chairman Schumacher made a motion to have Wolf River Community Bank (Greenville Branch) as the Town’s primary bank. Supervisor Kaddatz seconded the motion. Ayes:  Schumacher, Prunty and Kaddatz.  Motion carried.

 

REVIEW & APPROVAL OF INVOICES:

Motion by Chairman Schumacher to approve the payment of invoices.  Supervisor Prunty seconded the motion. Ayes: Schumacher, Prunty, and Kaddatz.   Motion carried.

 

Next meeting of the Board is scheduled for November 1, 2017 at 6:30 P.M.

 

Treasurer Fassbender gave the financial report.

 

ADJOURN:

Motion by Chairman Schumacher to adjourn at 7:55P.M. and Supervisor Prunty seconded the motion.  Ayes:  Schumacher, Prunty, and Kaddatz.  Motion carried.
