Board Meeting

6:30 P.M.

 

Chairman Joe Schumacher called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M.

 

Board members present: Chairman Joe Schumacher, Supervisor Allen Kaddatz, Supervisor Prunty, Treasurer Sherri Fassbender, and Clerk Bonnie Fischer.  Others that attended were Mr. & Mrs. Randy Warning, Bill Bergmann, Zen Miller, Adam Riechwald, Dan Schroth, and Shannon Loewenhagen.

 

ADOPT AGENDA:

Motion made by Chairman Schumacher to follow the posted agenda.  Supervisor Prunty seconded the motion. Ayes:  Schumacher, Kaddatz, and Prunty.  Motion carried.

 

Supervisor Kaddatz made a motion to accept the minutes as mailed to the Board members, and   Supervisor Prunty seconded the motion. Ayes:  Schumacher, Kaddatz, and Prunty.  Motion carried.

 

Randy Warning came to discuss the property he plans to purchase from his brother on Greendale Road, which is both in Ellington and Greenville.  Ellington’s assessor told us the property would be both 50/50.  Question as to who they should contact for building permit?   The clerk will call David from Associated Appraisals to get his input and possibly call Greenville to also discuss.

 

Zen Miller from the Outagamie Agricultural Services came to go over plans for Breakfast on the Farm at Steve Voight farm on June 11, 2017. Zen had maps to show roads they need shut down during the event:  Rexford from County Road S to Center Valley Road and Center Valley Road to County Road 76.  The County will also contact the Outagamie Sheriff Dept. for assistance.  Zen plans to contact the neighbors who are affected by the closures.  Joe told Zen they would get barricades from the county and they would be located in ditch where they would be used.

 

Bill Bergmann came to have a special exception permit signed for the County so he can build a shed addition for his Welding Business. Supervisor Kaddatz made a motion to approve and sign the special exception for Bill Bergmann.  Supervisor Prunty seconded the motion. Ayes:  Schumacher, Kaddatz, and Prunty.  Motion carried.

 

Joe made a motion to approve We Energy utility permit for work at the house fire on Valley View Road, with no charge.  Supervisor Kaddatz seconded the motion. Ayes:  Schumacher, Kaddatz, and Prunty.  Motion carried.

 

Went over a few notices from county.

 

Clerk to call Jim Emmons on a few issues within the town.

 

Dan Schroth having agricultural property on Rock by his sister’s home would like two agricultural culverts into that property.  There is also an easement for Lohrenz to get to his hunting property off of Rock Road.  Need to look up the last price charged for a culvert from the town.

 

HWY Report:  No report.

Fire Dept.:  Adam had an estimate for rust on 2722, o.k. to do by the Board, go ahead to replace 6 SEA bottles at $4800.00; truck maintenance to start; gave us fire runs.

First Responders:  No report

Constable:  No report

Park:  No report

Planning:  discussed earlier in meeting.  Chairman Schumacher made a motion to allow entrances into lots #3 and #4, per planning recommendation, off of Rock Road by the Ivy Creeks Golf Course.  Supervisor Prunty seconded the motion. Ayes:  Schumacher, Kaddatz, and Prunty.  Motion carried.

 

Tom McHugh came to have a conditional use permit signed for the County.  Chairman Schumacher made a motion to approve and sign conditional use permit for Tom McHugh for his business on County Road O.  Supervisor Prunty seconded the motion. Ayes:  Schumacher,

Kaddatz, and Prunty.  Motion carried.

 

REVIEW & APPROVAL OF INVOICES:

Motion by Chairman Schumacher to approve the payment of invoices.  Supervisor Prunty seconded the motion. Ayes: Schumacher, Kaddatz, and Prunty.  Motion carried.

 

Next meeting of the Board is scheduled for May 24, 2017 at 6:30 P.M.

 

Treasurer Fassbender gave the financial report.

Motion by Chairman Schumacher to adjourn at 8:10 P.M. and Supervisor Prunty seconded the motion.  Ayes:  Schumacher, Kaddatz, and Prunty.  Motion carried.
